PayGoTickets

Modernized event-management with latest tech. 10+ customers waiting for launch.

Overview

PayGoTickets is the startup I co-founded and my most significant project. It’s an event platform for small organizers: one described idea becomes a complete, sellable, marketed event in minutes, and the platform then stays with the organizer through the whole lifecycle.

The idea

Ticketing platforms like Eventbrite, Luma, Posh, Dice, Partiful and Ticket Tailor start after the hard part. They assume the organizer arrives with the event fully formed: copy written, flyer designed, prices decided. But an organizer’s real job is roughly ninety percent creation and promotion and ten percent ticketing, and the industry has spent fifteen years competing on the ten percent.

PayGoTickets owns the whole lifecycle instead.

01 CreateAn event from anything, in minutes

  • From a sentence. Describe the event in plain language, typed or spoken. The platform pulls out the title, dates, venue, capacity, ticket tiers and prices, flags what’s missing and prefills everything.
  • From a flyer. Photograph any existing flyer and it becomes a sellable event, a one-step move from paper or another platform.
  • Quick wizard. Three short steps with smart defaults per event type, like tables of ten and donation tiers for a fundraiser.
  • Run it again. Clone a past event with fresh dates and regenerated marketing.

02 SellEvery way money meets an event

  • Paid tickets and free registration, with per-tier pricing, capacity limits and custom registration fields.
  • Reserved seating with a visual seat-map designer.
  • Waitlists with automatic offers, so a refund never costs revenue.
  • Group buying and split pay: reserve six seats and each friend pays their share.
  • Payment plans, promo codes, early-bird windows and referral links.
  • Transparent all-in pricing for buyers, Stripe payouts straight to the organizer’s bank, and POS integration so door sales land in the same ledger.

03 MarketA marketing team, not a one-click generator

  1. Brand kit. Colors, fonts, logo and voice are captured once and reused on every asset.
  2. Art direction. The organizer picks the direction and tone before anything is made.
  3. Copy. Written in the organizer’s voice and refined with them in the loop.
  4. Every format. One approved concept becomes a feed post, story, printable flyer, banner, email header and personalized invitation.
  5. Scheduled posting. One-click posting to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and X on a campaign timeline: announce, early-bird closing, last call, day-of.

Around it: personalized invitation links, email and SMS sequences, an automatic event website with proper SEO, QR codes to registration, and ad-ready exports for Meta and Google.

04 RunDay-of operations in the same product

  • A check-in scanner that runs on any phone, with live capacity and duplicate detection.
  • Staff roles, so door staff see check-in and managers see sales.
  • Logistics checklists generated per event type: food, merch, vendors, equipment, permits.
  • Live announcements to attendees by SMS or push.

05 AfterEvery event markets the next one

  • Instant payout visibility and a profit-and-loss view per event, by tier and channel.
  • Automatic recap content and a shared photo drop for attendees.
  • Post-event surveys, summarized automatically.
  • An organizer CRM: everyone who ever attended can be invited to the next event in one click.

What sets it apart

  • An AI event staffer that keeps working after setup: it answers attendee questions from the event’s details, handles refunds within the organizer’s policy, and suggests what to do when sales slow down.
  • Brand memory. Every asset teaches the system the organizer’s style, so by the fifth event a flyer needs no direction at all.
  • An attendee graph built from check-ins and purchases (“three people you’ve been to events with are going”).
  • Open architecture: serverless and API-first, with embeddable checkout, widgets, webhooks and a white-label mode for venues.

Pay as you go

Most organizers run one to six events a year, yet the industry charges heavy per-ticket percentages or monthly subscriptions that bill through the months with no event. PayGoTickets charges only when an event happens: a small flat creation fee plus a low per-ticket fee, both below Eventbrite, and nothing in between.

Because the serverless infrastructure costs almost nothing while a customer is idle, the pricing and the architecture are the same shape. Competitors built on fixed infrastructure and subscription revenue can’t match that without undercutting themselves.

Who it’s for

Small businesses, clubs, nonprofits, venues, promoters and individuals who find existing ticketing platforms too expensive, too heavy, or too late in the process to actually help.

Progress

PayGoTickets hasn’t launched yet, and more than ten customers are already waiting for it. The original prototype was built with React Native, Python, Django, Stripe and AWS; the current version is rebuilt on a serverless, API-first AWS architecture with Stripe payouts. This page describes the product vision as of November 2026: the core create, sell and market flow is the current focus, and some features above are still on the roadmap.
